Furnival Way

Furnival Way is a small estate of 51 homes in Whiston, a suburb of Rotherham, South Yorkshire. The scheme lies on the edge of Whiston bordering open fields, and is adjacent to a school and primarily local authority housing. The neighbourhood is made up of 28 Home Ownership properties and 23 General Needs let properties, comprising six one bedroom flats, 12 two bedroom flats and 33 2/3 bedroom family houses.

Implementation of Neighbourhub

Surplus per Property has increased from £1,806 in 2013/14 to £3,401 in 2014/15, representing an additional £36,685 surplus in 14/15 for the Neighbourhood compared to 2013/14 figures.

Turnover reduced over the year, from a high of 44% at the start of the year to the year-end low of 17%.

Repair cost per property reduced from £1,787 in 2013/14 to £596 in 2014/15, a reduction of 66%.

Re-let times reduced from 35 days in 2013/14 to 15 days in 2014/15.

Total Void Loss reduced from 15% in 2013/14 to 0.83% in 2014/15.

Arrears reduced from a high of 9% in 2013/14 to a low of 6% at the end of 2014/15
